National Standard has access to a database of more than 100 business and risk management professionals within its partner networks that can be called up at short notice where required for complex assignments. Some of the professionals are drawn from NSPSGN and Strategic partners. We look after our people and strategic partners. NSFA has a modern and progressive structure in terms of beneficial shareholding and compensation. The Company works on the basis of fee and profit-sharing arrangements with its employees and partners as a compensation model. This ensures that we are able to motivate and retain key experts within our teams as they are well compensated and participate in the fortunes of the Company. The shareholding and directorship are notional for custodianship purposes rather than a reflection of beneficiary ownership. This explains the sole shareholding and directorship of Michael Tichareva as custodian of NSFA on behalf of all employees and partners within our network. Each employee and partner would submit an invoice to NSFA for their fees and share of profits such that there are no profit or losses that remain in NSFA at the end of each financial year, with income tax being paid in the hands of the employees and partners. It is an unapparelled and progressive business and compensation model that seeks to motivate and retain key experts. It is not comparable to traditional models that are not entrepreneurial and innovative.
