Biography

Tonderai has more than 17 years’ experience in finance and investment banking, particularly Project, Corporate and Structured Finance. In the area of corporate finance, he was actively involved in various capital markets transactions providing project support such as financial due diligences, equity and debt valuations, financial analysis, financial modeling, business analysis and evaluation, corporate and balance sheet restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, documentation and transaction execution. He structured equity offerings for major private and public companies including Initial Public Offerings, privatizations, secondary offerings and private placements. He also structured debt instruments for a wide range of high profile clients from government, multi-national companies, family owned concerns and individuals.
Tonderai has over the years handled transactions for, and developed strong relationships with a wide range of private corporates, quasi-government and public sector enterprises in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Botswana. He also established good relationships with regional and international financial institutions, international banks and private equity funds in Africa, Europe and Asia.
