Biography

Tafadzwa is an actuary with over 8 years of experience in actuarial work. He has experience working in Health care, General Insurance, Reinsurance and Banking Risk management. He is a qualified actuary who specialised in Non-Life for his qualifying specialist subject. In addition, he is also a chartered enterprise risk actuary and a banking advisory expert.  He has experience in advising medical schemes in the African region, including Post Retirement Medical scheme valuations, IAS19 and IFRS 9 for credit loss provisioning.  Tafadzwa holds an Msc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, which brings with it a suite of data analytics capabilities. He has evidently started applying these in developing business analytic tools for various companies that he consults to. Tafadzwa has modelling experience in SQL, VBA, R programming, C++, Python, SAS, C#, AWS, Hadoop Ecosystem which he has used in designing advanced dashboard design and other analytic tools for various clients. As a Data Scientist, he is adept with data wrangling in SQL, SAS, R, Python and other advanced techniques where he builds deep learning techniques with relative ease.
